A Vision for Kinesiology in the South West
After years of working with clients in my kinesiology practice, I began to feel a strong calling to share this incredible modality more widely.
Having experienced firsthand the profound impact kinesiology can have on people's lives, I wanted to create a pathway for others to learn, grow and become practitioners themselves.
The Align Institute of Kinesiology was born from this vision—to provide high-quality kinesiology education in the South West and make professional training more accessible to those who feel called to this work.
PKP™ Professional Kinesiology Practice
When I began my kinesiology journey, I was searching for a modality that aligned with my values and my belief in people's capacity to grow and transform. PKP™ resonated deeply with me because it is not about fixing people—it is about walking alongside them as they discover their own path forward.
The principles of PKP™ continue to shape both my clinical practice and my teaching. Through Align Institute of Kinesiology, I am proud to offer training as an ICPKP Affiliated College, bringing this powerful and transformative approach to kinesiology to the South West community.
A Learning Journey Like No Other
My background as a primary school teacher taught me that people learn best when they feel supported, encouraged and empowered. These same principles shape the learning environment at Align Institute of Kinesiology.
Students are invited not only to develop their kinesiology skills, but to deepen their understanding of themselves and their unique gifts as future practitioners.
Learn Locally
For many years, students interested in kinesiology training have needed to travel regularly to Perth to access quality education.
Align Institute of Kinesiology offers a local training option in the South West, allowing students to study closer to home while still receiving high-quality professional kinesiology education.
We are proud to bring this opportunity to our local community and support the growth of kinesiology throughout the region.
A Personal Note
When I discovered kinesiology in 2014, I knew I had found something truly special.
Today, I feel honoured to share this work both through my kinesiology practice and through educating the next generation of practitioners.
My hope is that more people throughout the South West can experience the benefits of kinesiology—whether as a client, a student, or ultimately as a practitioner supporting others.
